Trail conditions from the Golden Eagle side of the Central Gunflint trail system, as reported on 12/24:  “Conditions:  Good to Excellent Skiing for Classic and Freestyle

Comments:  Groomer is out today!  Overall we have a good packed base for
skating, trails are leveling out and the tracks are very nice.   Lake trails
are being packed with the snowmobile with no tracks being set.   The ice is
good but there is some slush beginning to show so we will continue packing
those trails in.  What a great start to the ski season!
